It's hard to remember a time without Spiceworks...I've only been using it for a couple of years, but I wouldn't want to go back to the time without this great IT tool...oh, and did I mention it's free?
If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor and visit:

Once running, it will map your network, list your devices (and lots of information about them), installed applications, warn you when servers are down for more then a few minutes, when printers are low on toner...so many features to list here.
Then you have the Spiceworks community, where all these amazing IT professionals exchange ideas, some very technical, some very funny, and everybody loves to help.
So don't wait any more, download it and install it on a VM so you can check it out...you won't be sorry.
